Right. This one’s for the lovebirds.
You know the feeling. You want to say something special. Not just “Happy Valentine’s Day” – that’s fine, but it’s on every card. You want to say “you are my Valentine.” Like, the one. The only. That’s what this cake is for.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake that says ‘You Are My Valentine’ on it? For my girlfriend. She loves hearts and pink.”
I said yeah, course. Made a heart‑shaped cake, pink buttercream, and wrote “You Are My Valentine” in white icing. She cried. He looked smug. That’s a win.
So here it is: You Are My Valentine Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a heart‑shaped cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, proposals, or just because you want to remind someone they’re your favourite.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla, red velvet, or chocolate. Your choice. Our proper ones. Light, fluffy, delicious.
Frosting – pink, red, or white buttercream. Smooth and romantic.
The message – “You Are My Valentine” piped on top in icing. Or you can choose a different message – “Be Mine”, “I Love You”, “My One and Only”.
The heart shape – hand‑cut. So it’s a proper heart, not a factory perfect one.
The details – a few little hearts round the edge, maybe some edible pearls or a dusting of red sprinkles. Nothing too fussy – the message is the star.
It’s simple, it’s sweet, and it says exactly what you mean.
Who buys this?
Valentine’s Day cake – the obvious one. Very popular in February.
Anniversary cake – for the person who’s still your Valentine after all these years.
Proposal cake – you’re going to ask? This sets the mood.
Just because – no occasion needed. Just love.
Honestly? Anyone who wants to make their person feel special.
Can I change the message?
Course. “Be Mine”, “I Love You”, “My Love” – just tell me. I’ll pipe whatever you want.
Can I get a different colour?
Yeah. Red on white, white on red, pink on white – your choice.
Different flavour?
Red velvet is the most romantic, but vanilla and chocolate work too. Lemon or strawberry if you prefer.
How much notice?
Few days if you can. The heart shape takes careful cutting. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.
Collection or delivery?
Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
The message is piped in icing – it’s safe to eat. If you want to keep the cake as a surprise, make sure they don’t see it before the big moment. Also the heart shape is hand‑cut – it won’t be perfectly symmetrical. That’s the charm.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
