Our Store

Right. So you want to come visit.

Fair enough. I would too if I was you. Cake's always better when you can see it, point at it, and say "that one please."

Here's what you need to know.

Where to find us.

We're in Bromley. 450 Bromley Rd, Bromley BR1 4PP, United Kingdom

Bit tucked away maybe. Easy to miss if you're not looking. Small place. Cosy. That's the polite word for it. Small but friendly.

Look for the [describe shopfront - e.g., blue front / window with cakes / bunting / whatever]. Can't miss it once you know what you're looking for.

When we're open.

[Insert hours here e.g.:]

  • Monday to Friday: 9am - 5pm

  • Saturday: 9am - 4pm

  • Sunday: Closed. Rest day. Even bakers need a break.

Sometimes I'm here earlier baking. Sometimes I stay later cleaning. But those are the times the door's actually open and I'm ready to serve.

If you're coming from far away maybe message ahead just in case. Life happens. Oven breaks. I get stuck in traffic. All that.

What it's like inside.

Small but packed. Counter full of stuff if I've been busy. Slices. Cupcakes. Traybakes. Whatever's fresh that day.

Smells good obviously. Butter and sugar and vanilla. Best smell in the world.

I'm usually behind the counter with flour on my apron. Might be mid- batch when you walk in. Shout hello anyway. I'll hear you.

Can I just turn up and buy stuff?

Course. That's the whole point. Door's open. Come in. Point at things. Take them away. Simple.

If you want something specific maybe message ahead so I can make sure it's there. Especially weekends. Stuff goes fast.

Do you do collections if I've ordered online?

Yeah. Order online, select collection, and I'll have it ready behind the counter with your name on it. Just come in during opening hours and say "I'm [your name] here for my order." Job done.

Is there parking?

Street parking mostly. Depends where you are. [Insert any nearby car parks or tips if relevant]. Sometimes easier to walk if you're local. Bromley town centre's not massive.

Can I just come and chat about an order without booking?

Course. Pop in. We'll have a natter about what you need. Bring pictures if you've got them. Tell me ideas. I'll make notes and figure it out.

If it's complicated maybe message ahead so I've got time to think. But for most stuff just turn up.

Do you do tastings?

For weddings and big orders yeah. Message me and we'll sort a time. Usually mid-week when it's quieter. Sit down, try some flavours, talk through what works.

Small charge for it but that comes off your order if you go ahead. Seems fair.

Is the shop accessible?

Yeah. Step free. Wide enough for pushchairs and wheelchairs. Not massive inside but you can move around fine. If you need anything just shout and I'll help.

Can I bring kids?

Love kids. They're my best customers honestly. They know what they want and don't mess about.

Little ones might need watching near the counter. Lots of yummy things at eye level. Can't blame them for looking.

Right. So come say hi.

Kettle's always on. Well not always always but offer stands. Happy to chat about cake or life or whatever.

Or just grab what you need and go. No pressure either way.
