Right so this one's the cousin of the Black Forest cake.
Same family. Similar vibe. But different. Like if Black Forest is the dramatic dark haired one, White Forest is the blonde one who's a bit more laid back. Both lovely. Just different energy.
Someone actually asked me if I did a white version ages ago.
They loved Black Forest but wanted something a bit lighter. Less intense. Still with cherries and cream but without the heavy chocolate. So I had a think and came up with this.
Here's how it works.
Vanilla sponge first. Nice and light. Fluffy. Real vanilla because cheap stuff would ruin it. Then we soak it. Just a little bit. With cherry juice and maybe a tiny splash of something fancy. Nothing boozy really just enough to keep it moist and bring out the cherry flavour.
Then the cream. Now this bit's important. It's not buttercream. It's actual whipped cream. Lightly sweetened. Whipped until it's soft and cloud-like but still holds its shape. Between the layers goes this cream plus cherries. Proper cherries. Not the bright red luminous ones. Good dark cherries that actually taste of something.
Then more sponge. More cream. More cherries. You get the idea.
On top we go all in.
Whipped cream all over. Smoothed or swirly depending on the vibe. Then a pile of cherries in the middle. Sometimes fresh if they're in season. Sometimes the good quality jarred ones. Then white chocolate shavings on top because that's the "white" bit. Gives it a bit of elegance.
Who's buying this one?
People who find Black Forest too rich. This is lighter.
Summer birthdays. The cream and cherries feel fresher somehow.
Wedding anniversaries actually. Had a couple order it for their 25th. Looked dead romantic.
Anyone who loves cherries but wants something different from the usual.
Honestly? People who see it and think "ooh that's pretty" because it is. Very pretty cake.
If you're in Bromley you can order online and come grab it whenever. Or if you want it delivered local just drop us a message. Couple days notice is ideal especially if you want it for a weekend because the cream means it's best made fresh.
One thing I should mention. Because it's got real whipped cream inside and on top? It needs to stay cool. Like properly cool. Not freezing cold but fridge cool. If it's a hot day and you're travelling far bring a cool bag. The cream can go soft otherwise. Still tastes fine just doesn't look as good.
Also the white chocolate on top might melt if it's really hot.
Again still tastes fine. Just less pretty. Summer problems eh.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
