Right. This one’s for the vanilla lovers who like things elegant.
You know rosettes? Those piped buttercream flowers that look like little roses? Now imagine them all over a square cake. It’s like a bouquet you can eat. And it’s vanilla – because vanilla is anything but boring when it’s done right.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake for my mum’s birthday? She loves vanilla and pretty things. Not too fussy, but special.”
I said yeah, course. Made a square vanilla cake, smooth vanilla buttercream, and covered the top with pale pink and white rosettes. She didn’t want to cut it – just kept saying “it’s so pretty.” That’s a win.
So here it is: Vanilla Rosette Square Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a square cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for a birthday, Mother’s Day, baby shower, anniversary, or any time you want something elegant and simple.
What’s in it?
Sponge – our proper vanilla. Light, fluffy, real vanilla. None of that artificial rubbish.
Frosting – smooth vanilla buttercream underneath. Then a layer of piped rosettes on top – pale pink, white, or a mix of both. Each one hand‑piped.
The square shape – sharp edges, neat slices. Looks modern and clean.
The details – maybe a few edible pearls or a dusting of icing sugar. But honestly, the rosettes are enough.
It’s the cake that looks like it took hours (it does) but tastes like pure comfort.
Who buys this?
Mother’s Day cake – mums love pretty things.
Baby shower cake – soft colours, very feminine.
Birthday cake for someone who loves vanilla and elegance.

Can I get a different rosette colour?
Yeah. Lavender, pale blue, yellow – just tell me. Or keep it white for a pure, elegant look.
Can I add a message?
Course. “Happy Birthday Mum”, “Love You”, their name – I’ll pipe it on the side in a coordinating colour.
How much notice?
Few days if you can. Piping rosettes takes time. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
The rosettes are delicate – they might lose a little shape if bumped. I’ll pack it carefully. Also the vanilla flavour is subtle but real – no fake vanilla taste here.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
