Right. This one’s for a beautiful occasion.
Not every cake is for a birthday. Sometimes it’s for something bigger. Something spiritual. Someone you know has been blessed to go for Umrah. Or they’ve just come back. And you want to say “Mubarak” – congratulations – with something sweet.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you do a cake for my mum? She just came back from Umrah. I want to surprise her. Something light, not too sweet, with cream. And write ‘Umrah Mubarak’ on it.”
I said yeah, course. Made a light vanilla sponge, whipped cream frosting, and wrote “Umrah Mubarak” in gold on top. She cried happy tears. That’s when you know it meant something.
So here it is: Umrah Mubarak Cream Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 or 8 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for welcoming someone back from Umrah, celebrating Hajj, or any religious milestone.
What’s in it?
Sponge – light vanilla or lemon. Not too heavy. Lets the cream shine.
Frosting – real whipped cream. Light, airy, not too sweet. Like clouds.
The message – “Umrah Mubarak” piped in gold, silver, or white icing on top. Or “Congratulations” if you prefer.
The details – maybe a few gold sprinkles, edible pearls, or a simple border. Nothing too flashy – keeps it elegant and respectful.
On top – sometimes a little sugar mosque or crescent moon and star. But only if you ask – I know some people prefer simple.
It’s a cake made with respect. For a journey that means a lot.
Who buys this?
Umrah Mubarak cake – for someone who’s just completed Umrah.
Hajj celebration cake – similar occasion, different wording.
Religious milestone cake – for a child’s Ameen, Quran completion, or other Islamic celebrations.
Welcome home cake – they’ve been away, now they’re back.
Honestly? Anyone who wants to say “I’m proud of you” with cake.
Can I get a different message?
Course. “Hajj Mubarak”, “Congratulations”, their name – whatever you want.
Can I change the flavour?
Yeah. Chocolate, red velvet, strawberry – just ask. The cream frosting works with most things.
Can I add a photo?
You could, but for this occasion, most people prefer just the message. Message me if you want a photo.
How much notice?
Few days if you can. I need to make sure the whipped cream is fresh. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
This cake has real whipped cream – needs to stay cool. Don’t leave it in a hot car. Bring a cool bag if you’re travelling far. Also the gold lettering is icing – it’s fine to eat.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
