Right. This one’s for the cartoon fans.
You know who you are. You grew up watching a cat and a mouse chase each other round a house. You still laugh when Jerry wins (which is always). You’ve definitely made that squeaky noise at least once.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you do a Tom & Jerry cake for my son’s 4th birthday? He loves the cheese bits.”
I said yeah, course. Made a round cake, blue and yellow, a little wedge of cheese, a tiny mouse and cat. He didn’t want to eat it. Just stared at it. That’s a win in my book.
So here it is: Tom & Jerry Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 or 8 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for a kids birthday party or any cartoon fan who grew up with the classics.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla or chocolate. Your choice.
Buttercream – smooth, not too sweet. Blue and yellow – Tom & Jerry colours.
On top – a little Tom and Jerry made of fondant or modelling chocolate. Not super detailed – I’m not a sculptor – but you can tell who’s who.
The cheese – a bright yellow wedge of fondant with little holes. Jerry’s favourite.
Around the sides – paw prints, little cheese wedges, maybe a few blue and yellow stars.
It’s fun. It’s nostalgic. Kids love it. Grown‑ups have a little moment of “oh I remember this”.
Who buys this?
Tom & Jerry birthday cake for kids who still watch it.
Vintage cartoon cake for adults who grew up in the 90s.
Kids party cake – not too scary, not too girly or boyish. Works for everyone.

Week or two if you can. The little Tom and Jerry figures take time to shape. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

One thing to mention…
The Tom and Jerry figures are fondant – they’re edible but quite sweet and a bit hard. Some kids just want to keep them. That’s fine. Also the cheese wedge might look a bit wonky. That’s on purpose – cartoon cheese isn’t perfect.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.

All orders must be paid for in advance. We do not accept cash on delivery.
