Right. This one’s a bit of a happy one.
You know sunflowers? They’re impossible to look at without smiling. Big, bright, yellow – like the sun decided to become a flower. Now imagine that on a heart‑shaped cake. With little bows. Because bows make everything cuter.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake for my mum’s birthday? She loves sunflowers and hearts. And she’s really girly – likes bows too.”
I said yeah, course. Made a heart‑shaped cake, yellow buttercream, a big sunflower in the middle, and little fondant bows round the edge. She cried. Happy tears. That’s a win.
So here it is: Sun Flower Heart Bows Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a heart‑shaped cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for a sunflower themed birthday, Mother’s Day, anniversary, or any celebration that needs a bit of sunshine and sweetness.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla, lemon, or chocolate. Your choice. Lemon works beautifully with sunflower – zesty and bright.
Frosting – yellow buttercream. Smooth, cheerful, like sunshine.
The sunflower – a big fondant sunflower in the middle of the cake. Yellow petals, brown centre. Handmade – not perfect, but full of love.
The bows – little fondant bows round the edge. Pink, white, or yellow – you choose. Cute and girly.
The heart shape – hand‑cut. So it’s a proper heart, not a factory perfect one.
Around the sides – maybe a few green leaves or extra yellow petals. Keeps it bright and happy.
It’s a cake that says “you make me happy” without words.

Sunflower birthday cake – for someone who loves the flower.
Mother’s Day cake – mums love sunflowers. And hearts. And bows.

Can I get a different flower?
Maybe. Daisies, roses – but sunflower is the star here. Message me if you want something else.
Can I change the bow colour?
Course. Pink, red, white, even blue – just tell me.
Different flavour?
Lemon is my top recommendation – goes beautifully with sunflower theme. But vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet work too.
How much notice?
Few days if you want simple. Week if you want the sunflower looking proper. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

One thing to mention…
The sunflower and bows are made of fondant – edible but a bit hard. Some people want to keep them as little keepsakes. That’s fine. Also the yellow buttercream might be bright – it’s food colouring, but I use a good one that doesn’t taste weird.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
