Right. This one’s for the little princesses who love Barbie – and love a cake that’s also a toy.
You know the classic doll cake? A Barbie doll (or any princess doll) with a beautiful skirt made entirely of cake. The doll sits on top, and her dress is a dome of soft, fluffy vanilla or strawberry sponge, covered in pink buttercream and decorated with little flowers, stars, or even edible pearls. When you cut into the skirt, you get slices of delicious cake – and the doll comes out clean to keep as a souvenir. It’s a cake and a gift in one.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a Barbie doll cake for my daughter’s 4th birthday? She wants a princess with a pink dress. We’re in Grove Park.”
I said yeah, course. I baked a vanilla dome cake, fitted it with a Barbie doll, covered it in pink buttercream, and added little sugar flowers and a sparkly tiara. She screamed “IT’S BARBIE!” That’s a win.
So here it is: Princess Barbie Doll Cake – available for delivery and collection across Bromley, Downham, Grove Park, Sydenham, Catford & Bellingham.
It’s a dome‑shaped cake (the skirt), about 7 inches across. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for a Barbie themed birthday, princess party, first birthday, or any little one who dreams of being a princess.
What’s in it?
The cake skirt – a dome of light vanilla or strawberry sponge. Strawberry is pink inside – very princess. I bake it in a special bowl so it’s perfectly rounded.
The doll – you provide the Barbie doll (or any princess doll with a removable skirt). I wrap her legs in food‑safe plastic and insert her into the cake so she looks like she’s wearing a giant dress.
Frosting – pink buttercream, smoothed or piped into ruffles to look like a ballgown. I can also do lavender, white, or any colour you like.
The decorations – sugar flowers, edible pearls, little stars, and a tiny fondant tiara on the doll’s head. You can also add a “Happy Birthday” message on the cake board.
The look – a beautiful princess in a frosted gown, with sparkly details. It’s the kind of cake that makes every little girl feel like royalty.
When you cut the cake, you slice the skirt into wedges – the doll comes out clean, ready to be played with. It’s a cake and a gift in one.

Can I use a specific doll?
Yes. You can use any Barbie or princess doll you have – just make sure she’s not too tall (about 6–7 inches). I’ll insert her safely. If you don’t have one, I can provide a basic doll for a small extra cost.
Can I get a different flavour?
Yes. Chocolate, lemon, or red velvet – just tell me.
Can I add a message or name?
Course. “Happy 4th Birthday”, “Princess Lily” – I’ll write it on the cake board in icing.
How much notice?
Few days if you can. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.
Collection or delivery?
Collect from our Bromley shop or get local delivery to Downham, Grove Park, Sydenham, Catford, Bellingham – all within easy reach.
One thing to mention…
The doll is not edible, but the cake is. I wrap her legs in food‑safe plastic so nothing touches the cake. You can wash the doll after and keep her. Also, the cake is hand‑shaped – the skirt might not be a perfect dome, but that’s the charm.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
