Right. This one’s for the Nutella addicts.
You know who you are. You’ve eaten it straight from the jar with a spoon. You’ve hidden a backup jar in the cupboard. You think Nutella makes everything better. And you’re right. So I made a cake that’s basically Nutella in double‑chocolate form.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake that tastes like Nutella but even more chocolatey? Double the chocolate, double the hazelnut.”
I said yeah, course. I made a dark chocolate sponge, layered it with Nutella buttercream, then poured a chocolate hazelnut ganache over the top. Then I added more Nutella drizzle and crushed hazelnuts. They closed their eyes when they ate it. That’s a win.
So here it is: Nutella Double Choc – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for a chocolate lover’s birthday, Nutella fan’s celebration, kids party, or any time you want pure, unapologetic indulgence.
What’s in it?
Sponge – double chocolate. That means cocoa powder and melted dark chocolate in the batter. Super rich, super moist, super chocolatey.
Filling – a generous layer of Nutella buttercream (buttercream whipped with actual Nutella). Smooth, creamy, tastes like the inside of a Ferrero Rocher.
The double choc bit – a chocolate hazelnut ganache poured over the top. Glossy, shiny, and packed with roasted hazelnut flavour.
The toppings – a drizzle of warm Nutella, a sprinkle of crushed roasted hazelnuts, and maybe a few chocolate curls.
The look – dark, rich, glossy. Like a chocolate dream.
It’s not a cake for people who like things light. It’s a cake for people who believe that more chocolate is always the answer.
Who buys this?
Nutella lover’s birthday cake – for the person who has a jar in their desk drawer.
Chocolate lover’s cake – double chocolate means double happiness.
Kids party cake – they will lose their minds over Nutella and chocolate.
Just because – you’ve had a rough week and you need Nutella in cake form.

Can I get a different nut on top?
Yes. Chopped almonds, pistachios, or even hazelnut brittle. Just tell me.

Course. “Happy Birthday”, “Nutella Queen”, “Chocoholic” – I’ll pipe it in chocolate or gold.

One thing to mention…
This cake is rich. Really rich. A small slice will satisfy you – but you’ll probably want another one anyway. Also the Nutella drizzle might soften in a warm room – keep it cool but not fridged.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
