Right. This one’s for the Minecraft fans.
You know who you are. You’ve spent hours mining for diamonds. You’ve built a castle, then blown it up with TNT for fun. You definitely have a favourite biome (mine’s the mushroom field). No judgement. I’ve lost whole weekends to this game.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you do a Minecraft cake for my son’s 8th birthday? He wants grass blocks, a creeper, maybe a little pickaxe.”
I said yeah, course. Made a square cake (because Minecraft is square), green buttercream for grass, a few fondant grass blocks, and a little creeper face on the side. He screamed “CREEPER!” and pretended to blow it up. That’s a win.
So here it is: Minecraft World Adventure Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a square cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for a Minecraft birthday party, gaming celebration, or any kid who loves to build, mine, and explore.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla, chocolate, or green vanilla (yes, I can do a pale green – looks like the inside of a grass block). Your choice.
Frosting – green buttercream for grass. Or brown for dirt. Or blue for water. You tell me your favourite Minecraft world vibe.
The Minecraft bits – little fondant grass blocks, a creeper face (green with black pixels), a diamond sword or pickaxe, and maybe a tiny TNT block.
The square shape – because Minecraft is all squares. Sharp edges, like a real block.
Around the sides – you can have a pixelated pattern or just keep it simple. I can do a “creeper pattern” round the edge – little green squares.
It’s a cake that looks like it came straight out of the game. Kids (and adults) love it.
Who buys this?
Minecraft birthday cake for 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, 10th birthdays – peak Minecraft age.
Gaming themed party – works for any video game fan, but Minecraft is special.
Square cake lovers – tired of round? This is for you.
First birthday – can do a smaller smash cake with a creeper face.
Grown‑up gamer – 21st, 30th, even 40th. No shame.
Honestly? Anyone who thinks “creeper” is a compliment.
Can I get a specific Minecraft character or item?
Yeah. Creeper, Enderman, Steve, Alex, a diamond, a pickaxe, a sword, TNT – just tell me. I’ll try my best with fondant.
Can I add a name or age?
Course. “Happy 8th Birthday Leo” – I’ll pipe it in green or black on the side.
Different flavour?
Green vanilla is fun for the theme, but chocolate or red velvet work too.
How much notice?
Few days if you want simple. Week if you want a proper creeper face and pickaxe. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
The fondant Minecraft bits are edible but a bit hard. Most kids want to keep them as little toys – that’s fine. Also the green buttercream might be bright – it’s food colouring, but I use a good one that doesn’t taste weird.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
