Right. This one’s for Eid.
Eid al‑Fitr and Eid al‑Adha – the two big celebrations. A month of fasting, or a time of pilgrimage, and then the feast. Family gathers, gifts are given, and there’s always cake. Not just any cake – something special. Something that says “Eid Mubarak” in every bite.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake for Eid? Something green and gold, with a crescent moon and a star. And please, no alcohol.”
I said yeah, course. I made a light vanilla cake, covered it in green buttercream, added a gold crescent moon and star on top, and wrote “Eid Mubarak” in gold. The family took photos before cutting it. That’s a win.
So here it is: Eid Special Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for Eid al‑Fitr, Eid al‑Adha, or any Islamic celebration.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla, lemon, chocolate, or red velvet. All alcohol‑free – I use halal‑friendly vanilla extract. No rum, no brandy, no wine.
Frosting – smooth buttercream or cream cheese. Green, gold, white, or any colour you like – match your Eid outfit or your decorations.
The Eid touch – a gold crescent moon and star on top (fondant or piped), and “Eid Mubarak” written in gold or white.
The details – edible gold leaf, a few sugar pearls, or a sprinkle of green and gold stars. Or keep it simple – the message is what matters.
The look – elegant, celebratory, and respectful. Not too flashy, but special enough for a feast.
It’s a cake made with respect for the occasion. And it’s delicious – because Eid is about joy, and joy should taste good.

Can I get a different colour scheme?
Yes. Green and gold is classic, but you can have white and silver, pink and gold, or even a rainbow. Just tell me.
Can I add a name or message?
Course. “Eid Mubarak” is the most common, but you can add “Blessed Eid” or the family name.
Can I get Arabic calligraphy?
Yes. Send me a clear image of the text – “عيد مبارك” or “كل عام وأنتم بخير”. I’ll do my best to trace it in icing.
How much notice?
At least a week before Eid. Orders get very busy – book early. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.
Collection or delivery?
Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
All ingredients are halal‑friendly – no alcohol, no gelatine. If you need halal certification, let me know – I can source certified ingredients, but it takes a bit more time.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
