Right. This one’s for the people who love chocolate, love sprinkles, and love Valentine’s Day – but don’t want anything too fancy or fussy.
A heart‑shaped cake, covered in a thick layer of smooth chocolate buttercream, then completely covered in colourful sprinkles. Pink, red, white, maybe a few little hearts. It’s simple, it’s fun, and it’s guaranteed to make your Valentine smile. No complicated piping, no fondant sculptures – just a really good chocolate cake with a party on top.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a Valentine’s cake that’s not too posh? My boyfriend loves chocolate sprinkles. Like, the more the better. We’re in Downham.”
I said yeah, course. I made a chocolate heart cake, slathered it in chocolate buttercream, and rolled it in a bowl of sprinkles until every bit was covered. He said it was the best cake he’d ever had. That’s a win.
So here it is: Chocolate Sprinkles Valentine’s Cake – available for delivery and collection across Bromley, Downham, Grove Park, Sydenham, Catford & Bellingham.
It’s a heart‑shaped cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for Valentine’s Day, anniversaries, birthdays, or any time you want to say “I love you” with a bit of colour and crunch.
What’s in it?
Sponge – rich chocolate or vanilla – your choice. Chocolate is the classic, but vanilla works beautifully with the colourful sprinkles.
Filling – a layer of chocolate ganache or raspberry jam – you decide. Raspberry adds a lovely tartness.
Frosting – smooth chocolate buttercream. It’s the glue that holds the sprinkles.
The sprinkles – a generous coating of pink, red, and white sprinkles all over the top and sides. I also add a few heart‑shaped sprinkles if I can find them.
The heart shape – hand‑cut, so it’s a proper heart, not a factory perfect one.
The look – a dark chocolate heart, completely covered in a rainbow of sprinkles. It’s cheerful, it’s romantic, and it’s impossible to look at without smiling.
It’s the cake that says “I love you, but I also want to have fun.”

One thing to mention…
The sprinkles might fall off a bit in transport – I’ll pack it carefully and give you a little bag of extra sprinkles to press back on. The cake is best eaten within 2‑3 days. Keep it in a cool place.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
