Right. You want blue.
Not just any blue – your blue. Navy, royal, pastel, sky, or something in between. And you want it on a cake that’s made just for you. The flavour, the filling, the message – all your choice. That’s what this is. A blue cake, custom made, exactly how you like it.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake for my husband’s 40th? His favourite colour is blue. Like, really blue. And he loves chocolate. Can you do a blue chocolate cake?”
I said yeah, course. I made a rich chocolate sponge, covered it in royal blue buttercream, and piped “Happy 40th” in white on top. He grinned. That’s a win.
So here it is: Blue Custom Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. You can also get square, heart‑shaped, or a larger size – just ask.
What can you customise?
Sponge – vanilla, chocolate, red velvet, lemon, carrot – your choice.
Filling – raspberry jam, strawberry compote, lemon curd, chocolate ganache, salted caramel, Nutella, or fresh berries.
Frosting – blue buttercream. You pick the shade: pale sky blue, bright royal, deep navy, or something in between.
Decoration – smooth finish, piped swirls, a drip, sprinkles, edible pearls, or a custom message.
The message – “Happy Birthday”, “Well Done”, “I Love You”, their name – anything you want.
You dream it, I’ll try to make it. (Within reason – I’m a baker, not a wizard. But I’ll give it my best.)
Who buys this?
Birthday cake – any age, any theme, but blue is especially popular for boys and men.
Anniversary cake – blue is calming and romantic.
Graduation cake – school colours? Blue and white?
Baby shower – for a baby boy, or just because blue is pretty.
Just because – you want a cake that’s exactly how you like it.
Honestly? Anyone who believes blue is the best colour (it is).
Can I get a different shade of blue?
Yes. Send me a picture of the blue you want – I’ll match it as close as I can.
Can I add a photo or logo?
Yes. I can put an edible photo on top, or pipe a simple logo.
How much notice?
A few days at least. A week is better for complicated designs. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.
Collection or delivery?
Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
The blue colour is made with food gel – no weird taste. Dark blues might leave a tiny bit of colour on your tongue – washes off. Also, custom cakes take time – don’t leave it till the day before.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
