Vegan Mango Passion Cake – no eggs, no dairy, no compromise
Right. Vegan cake gets a bad rap sometimes. People think it’s dry, or weird, or made of cardboard. Not this one. It’s the same mango passion fruit cake I make for everyone else – just without the butter, eggs, or cream. And honestly? You wouldn’t know the difference.
I use plant‑based butter (the good kind, not the watery stuff), oat milk or soy, and a flax egg substitute. The mango sponge stays soft and moist. The passion fruit curd is naturally vegan – just fruit, sugar, cornflour, and a little plant milk. On top, a coconut‑based buttercream or a simple passion fruit glaze. Same tropical zing, same juicy mango, same little black seeds.
Where to get it
I bake these in Bromley. People from Downham, Grove Park, Sydenham, Catford and Bellingham ask for vegan options all the time – for birthdays, anniversaries, or just because they’re dairy‑free. I deliver local, or you can collect from the shop.
Who’s buying this?
Vegans, obviously. But also people who are lactose intolerant, people who want a lighter cake, and honestly? Anyone who just wants to try something different without missing out.
One thing to know
The cake is best eaten within two days – the vegan buttercream can soften faster than dairy. Keep it cool. And if you need it gluten‑free as well, just ask – I can do that too (different recipe, same great taste).

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
