It’s a square cake (because squares are modern and slice perfectly), and it comes with a photo printed on top. Your face, your kid’s face, your dog’s face – even your favourite meme. The sponge is our premium vanilla or chocolate, the buttercream is silky smooth, and the photo is printed on edible rice paper. It’s the cake you bring when you want to impress and personalise at the same time.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a really high‑end photo cake? Square, not round. I want a photo of our family on it. It’s for my parents’ 40th anniversary. We’re in Downham.”
I said yeah, course. I made a square vanilla cake, covered it in smooth white buttercream, and put a beautiful edible photo of the whole family on top. I added a gold border and a few sugar pearls. They cried. That’s a win.

It’s a square cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. You can also get a larger size – just ask. Perfect for a milestone birthday, anniversary, graduation, retirement, leaving party, or any celebration where you want a cake that’s as unique as the person you’re celebrating.
What’s in it?
Sponge – premium vanilla, rich chocolate, or red velvet. All made with real butter, free‑range eggs, and top‑quality ingredients. No shortcuts.
Filling – you choose: raspberry jam, lemon curd, strawberry compote, chocolate ganache, or salted caramel. Something delicious between the layers.
Frosting – smooth, silky buttercream in any colour you want. White is classic – it lets the photo pop. But you can have pink, blue, gold, or any shade.
The photo – an edible photo printed on rice paper with food colouring. Send me a clear, well‑lit photo, and I’ll print it and place it on top.
The square shape – sharp edges, neat slices, and a modern look. It’s a premium shape for a premium cake.
The details – a simple piped border, a few edible pearls, or a dusting of edible glitter. I can also add a message like “Happy 40th” or “Mum & Dad”.

What kind of photo works best?
Clear, well‑lit, not blurry. Selfies are fine. Professional photos are great. Funny faces are even better. No blurry photos – they come out blurry on the cake.

Course. “Happy 40th Anniversary”, “The Smiths”, “Well Done” – I’ll pipe it in gold or silver on the side.
How much notice?
Week if you can. The edible photo needs printing and posting to me. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

One thing to mention…
The edible photo is safe to eat, but don’t leave it in a hot car – the colours can run. The square shape has corners – careful when carrying it. Also, this is our premium range – ingredients are top quality, so it costs a little more, but you can taste the difference.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
