Right. This one’s for the little royals.
You know who you are. You’ve got a tiara somewhere. You’ve watched every Disney princess movie at least five times. You definitely believe that a castle is the best house you could ever have. No judgement – I wanted to live in one too.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you do a castle cake for my daughter’s 5th birthday? She wants towers and pink and a princess on top.”
I said yeah, course. Made a round cake with four little tower cupcakes round the edges. Pink buttercream, a little turret on each cupcake, and a tiny princess figurine in the middle. She gasped. Then she didn’t want to eat it. That’s a win in my book.
So here it is: Princess Castle Birthday Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 or 8 inches, with 4 mini cupcakes as towers. Feeds about 8–12 kids (or 6 hungry adults). Perfect for a princess themed party, fairytale birthday, or any little one who dreams of castles.
What’s in it?
Main sponge – vanilla or chocolate. Your choice. Our proper ones. Light, fluffy, not too sweet.
Tower cupcakes – same sponge. Little mini cakes that sit round the main cake.
Buttercream – pink, purple, or whatever princess colour you want. Smooth or swirly.
The castle details – little turret tops on each cupcake (ice cream cones or fondant). Edible “stones” piped on the sides. A drawbridge or flag if you want.
On top – a little princess figurine (not edible – you keep her). Or a sugar crown. Or a “Happy Birthday” flag.
Around the sides – pink and white stripes, maybe some edible pearls or little stars.
It’s a whole castle. Kids absolutely lose their minds.
Who buys this?
Princess birthday cake for 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th birthdays – peak princess age.
Fairy tale party – works for any magical theme.
Disney princess cake – you tell me which princess, I’ll try to match colours.
First birthday – can do a smaller version with one tower.
Honestly? Grown‑ups who want a childhood dream come true. No judgement. I’ve made it for 30th birthdays.
Can I get a specific princess?
Yeah. Elsa, Anna, Rapunzel, Cinderella, Ariel – just tell me. I’ll try to match the colours. I can’t put a copyrighted figurine on top (that’s on you to buy), but I can do the colours and a generic crown.
Can I change the colours?
Course. You want purple and gold? Blue and silver? Just tell me.
Different flavour?
Yeah. Red velvet, lemon, strawberry – whatever. Just ask.
How much notice?
Week if you can. The towers take time to shape and get stable. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.
Collection or delivery?
Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
The tower cupcakes are separate – they’re not glued to the main cake. You can pull them off and give them to kids. Makes serving easier. Also the princess figurine is not edible – take it off before cutting. And the ice cream cone turrets might get a bit soft if it’s hot – keep the cake cool.
Right. That’s the Princess Castle one done.
For the kids who know that every birthday deserves a castle.
