Right. This one’s for the M&M's lovers.
You know those colourful little chocolate buttons that melt in your mouth, not in your hand? Now imagine a whole tower of cake covered in them. A rich chocolate sponge, smooth chocolate buttercream, and a cascade of red, blue, green, yellow, brown, and orange M&M's pouring down the sides. It’s colourful, it’s fun, and it’s guaranteed to make everyone smile.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake for my daughter’s 7th birthday? She loves M&M's. Bright colours, lots of them. And can you deliver it to Catford?”
I said yeah, course. I made a two‑tier chocolate cake, covered it in chocolate buttercream, and pressed hundreds of M&M's all over the sides and top. She screamed “IT’S A RAINBOW!” That’s a win.
So here it is: M&M's Tower Cake – available for delivery and collection across Bromley, Downham, Grove Park, Sydenham, Catford & Bellingham.
It’s a two‑tier tower cake (or three – just ask). Feeds 10–20 people depending on size. Perfect for a kids birthday party, colourful celebration, chocolate lover’s dream, or any time you want a cake that’s as fun to look at as it is to eat.
What’s in it?
Sponge – rich chocolate or vanilla. Your choice. Chocolate is the classic pairing for M&M's.
Filling – chocolate buttercream or a layer of chocolate ganache. Smooth and creamy.
Frosting – chocolate buttercream on the outside – it acts like glue for the M&M's.
The M&M's – a generous coverage of colourful M&M's pressed into the sides and piled on top. I use standard milk chocolate M&M's, but you can get peanut, crispy, or even mini – just ask.
The look – a riot of colour. Red, blue, green, yellow, brown, orange. It’s like a party on a cake.
It’s the cake that makes kids’ eyes go wide and adults feel like a kid again. And it’s surprisingly easy to serve – the M&M's just pop off as you cut.
Who buys this?
Kids birthday cake – for 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th birthdays – peak M&M's age.
Colourful party cake – for any celebration that needs a pop of colour.
Chocolate cake with a twist – the M&M's add crunch and extra chocolate.
Rainbow themed cake – the colours work perfectly.
Just because – you want a cake that’s pure joy.
Honestly? Anyone who’s ever eaten all the red M&M's first.
Can I get a specific colour mix?
Yes. You want only blue and white for a baby shower? Red and pink for Valentine’s? Just tell me. I can sort through the bags (takes a while, but worth it).
Can I add a message or name?
Course. “Happy 7th Birthday”, “Leo”, “M&M's Party” – I’ll pipe it in white or chocolate on a space without M&M's.
Can I get peanut M&M's instead?
Yes. Peanut, crispy, or even the new caramel ones. Just tell me – they might cost a bit more.
How much notice?
Few days if you can. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.
Collection or delivery?
Collect from our Bromley shop or get local delivery to Downham, Grove Park, Sydenham, Catford, Bellingham – all within easy reach.
One thing to mention…
M&M's can get a little soft if the cake is left out for days – best eaten within 24‑48 hours for maximum crunch. The chocolate shell might crack when you cut the cake – that’s normal. Also, this cake is very colourful – the kids will love it, but be prepared for sticky fingers.
Right. That’s the M&M's Tower Cake done.
For the people who believe that more colours mean more fun. And that a cake should be as bright as the person eating it – delivered right to your door in Bromley, Downham, Grove Park, Sydenham, Catford, or Bellingham.
