Right. This one’s for the flower lovers.
Not real flowers – those are pretty, but you can’t eat them. I’m talking about buttercream flowers. Piped roses, little blossoms, leaves – all made of smooth, creamy buttercream. They look like they’ve just bloomed on top of your cake. And underneath? A soft, delicious sponge – vanilla, lemon, or chocolate – waiting to be eaten.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake that looks like a garden? Not too many colours – just soft pinks and whites. For my mum’s birthday.”
I said yeah, course. I made a lemon sponge (her favourite), covered it in pale pink buttercream, and piped a cascade of roses and tiny blossoms down the side. She didn’t want to cut it – just kept saying “it’s too pretty.” That’s a win.
So here it is: Floral Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for a birthday, Mother’s Day, anniversary, bridal shower, baby shower, or any time you want a cake that’s as beautiful as it is delicious.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla, lemon, chocolate, or red velvet. Your choice. Lemon is lovely with flowers – fresh and zesty.
Frosting – smooth buttercream. White, pale pink, or ivory – keeps the cake elegant.
The flowers – hand‑piped buttercream roses, peonies, and little blossoms. Each one is different – like a real garden. No two cakes are exactly alike.
The colours – soft pinks, blush, white, and a touch of green for leaves. You can choose a different colour palette – pastel blues, lavender, or even a single colour like all white roses.
The details – a simple piped border and maybe a few edible pearls. Nothing fussy – the flowers are the star.
It’s the cake that makes people say “that’s beautiful” before they even taste it. And then they taste it, and they want another slice.
Who buys this?

Can I get a different flower colour?
Yes. Pastel blues, lavender, yellows, or even a rainbow. Just tell me.
Can I add a message or name?
Course. “Happy Birthday”, “Mum”, “Love” – I’ll pipe it in a matching colour on the side.
How much notice?
Few days if you can. Piping flowers takes a steady hand. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

One thing to mention…
The buttercream flowers are delicate – they might lose a petal in transport. I’ll pack it carefully. Also, the colours are made with food gel – no weird taste.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
