Right. This one’s for the green lovers.
You know that feeling when you see a bright, beautiful green cake on the table? It just looks… festive. Could be for St. Patrick’s Day. Could be for Christmas (red and green, anyone?). Could be for a birthday where green is their favourite colour. Or just because you want something different from pink and blue.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a green cake for my husband’s 40th? His favourite colour is green. And he loves mint chocolate.”
I said yeah, course. Made a light green sponge, mint chocolate buttercream, and covered it in green sprinkles. He grinned. That’s a win.
So here it is: Festive Green Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, Christmas, green‑themed birthday, baby shower (if they don’t know the gender but you’re feeling green), or any celebration that needs a pop of green.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla, mint, or pistachio. Your choice. Mint is very green and tastes like after‑eights. Pistachio is nutty and subtle. Vanilla is classic – I can just colour it green.
Frosting – green buttercream. Pale green, bright green, or dark forest green – you tell me. Or I can do a green drip over white buttercream.
The festive bit – green sprinkles, maybe some gold stars for contrast, or a few white chocolate snowflakes (for Christmas). For St. Patrick’s Day, I can add little fondant shamrocks.
The details – you can have a message like “Happy St. Paddy’s Day” or “Merry Christmas” or just “Happy Birthday” in white or gold.
It’s versatile, it’s fun, and it’s green. Really, really green.
Who buys this?
St. Patrick’s Day cake – March 17th, green beer, parades, and cake.
Christmas cake – red and green decorations? This is the green part.
Green themed birthday – for anyone whose favourite colour is green.
Baby shower – if you’re not revealing the gender but want a colour, green is neutral and cheerful.
Eco‑friendly party – green theme, sustainable decorations, and this cake.
Honestly? Anyone who’s tired of pink and wants something fresh.
Can I get a different green flavour?
Mint is popular (like a Grasshopper cake). Pistachio is elegant. Matcha (green tea) is earthy and trendy. Just ask.
Can I add a message or name?
Course. “Happy St. Patrick’s Day”, “Merry Christmas”, “Go Green” – I’ll pipe it in white or gold.
How much notice?
Few days is fine. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
The green colour is made with food gel – no weird taste. If you want a natural green, matcha or spinach powder works but gives a more muted, earthy green. Just let me know.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
