Right. This one’s for the romantics who love roses.
You know that colour blush? Soft, pale pink – like the inside of a rose petal. Not too bright, not too pale. Just elegant. That’s this cake. It’s covered in blush pink buttercream, and then topped with beautiful piped roses in a deeper pink. It’s the kind of cake you’d have at a wedding, an anniversary, or a really special birthday.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you make a cake that’s romantic but not too fancy? I want roses, but not a full wedding cake. Something for my mum’s 60th.”
I said yeah, course. I made a light vanilla sponge, covered it in blush buttercream, and spent an afternoon piping little roses all over the top and sides. She cried. That’s a win.
So here it is: Blush Rose Celebration Cake – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for an anniversary, Mother’s Day, bridal shower, birthday, or any celebration that needs a touch of elegance.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla, lemon, or strawberry. Your choice. Lemon gives a nice zing with the sweet buttercream. Strawberry is very pink and pretty.
Frosting – blush pink buttercream. Smooth, soft, like a summer sunset.
The roses – piped buttercream roses in a deeper pink. Each one hand‑piped. They look like real roses but better because they’re made of frosting.
The details – a few green piped leaves, maybe a dusting of edible pearls or a light sprinkle of gold dust.
Around the sides – a simple piped border or more tiny roses. You decide.
It’s the cake that makes everyone say “that’s beautiful” before they even taste it. And then they taste it, and it’s even better.
Who buys this?
Anniversary cake – for the couple who still buy each other roses.

Can I get a different rose colour?
Yeah. White roses, pale pink, even coral – just tell me.
Can I add a message or name?
Course. “Happy Anniversary”, “I Love You”, “Mum” – I’ll pipe it in gold or white on the side.
How much notice?
Few days if you can. Piping roses takes a steady hand. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.

One thing to mention…
The piped roses are delicate – they might lose a petal in transport. I’ll pack it carefully. Also the blush colour is subtle – if you want it deeper, just tell me.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
