Right. This one’s for the Barbie fans.
You know who you are. You’ve had a Barbie with the hair all tangled from too much brushing. You’ve got a pink Dreamhouse somewhere in your memory. You definitely sang along to the Barbie movie soundtrack. No judgement – I did too.
Someone asked me a while back: “can you do a Barbie cake for my daughter’s 6th birthday? She wants pink and sparkles and her face on it.”
I said yeah, course. Made a round cake, hot pink buttercream, an edible photo of her daughter smiling, and a little Barbie silhouette. She cried. Happy tears. The kid screamed “BARBIE!” That’s when you know you’ve done it right.
So here it is: Barbie Theme Cake (Photo Cake) – available at our Bromley bakery.
It’s a round cake, about 7 or 8 inches. Feeds 6–10 people. Perfect for a Barbie themed birthday party or any little one who loves everything pink.
What’s in it?
Sponge – vanilla or chocolate. Your choice. Our proper ones. Light, fluffy, not too sweet.
Buttercream – hot pink, smooth. Or pale pink if you prefer. I can match the Barbie pink.
The photo – an edible photo of your child (or whoever) printed on rice paper with food colouring. Safe to eat. Looks like a sticker but it’s not – it melts in your mouth.
The theme – little Barbie silhouettes, stars, maybe a “B” or a crown piped in icing.
Around the sides – pink and white stripes, or little sparkly sprinkles.
Extra – sometimes a tiny Barbie doll on top (not edible – you keep her). Or a fondant Dreamhouse shape.
Kids absolutely love seeing their own face on a Barbie cake. It’s like they’re the star of the show.
Who buys this?
Barbie birthday cake for 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th birthdays – peak Barbie age.
Photo cake – people love personalised cakes with their child’s face.
Pink themed party – works for any girly celebration.
First birthday – can do a smaller smash cake version with a tiny photo.
Honestly? Grown‑up Barbie fans for 30th, 40th birthdays. The movie made it cool again.
Can I get a different photo?
Course. Send me a clear, not‑blurry photo. I’ll print it. If you want the whole family on the cake, that’s fine too – just tell me.
Can I change the colour?
Yeah. You want lilac, rose gold, even blue? Just tell me. Barbie is pink but your party doesn’t have to be.
Different flavour?
Yeah. Red velvet, lemon, strawberry – whatever. Just ask.
How much notice?
Week or two if you can. The edible photo needs printing and posting to me. Order online or message me – I’ll be honest.
Collection or delivery?
Collect from our Bromley shop or local delivery if you're nearby.
One thing to mention…
The edible photo is fine to eat but don’t leave it in a hot car – the colours can run. Also the little Barbie doll (if you add one) is not edible – take it off before cutting. The photo is on rice paper – it’s a bit fragile but looks amazing.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.

Delivery is available within 2 hours of placing your order. Please select a delivery slot at checkout and ensure you provide the correct contact number for our driver.
