What you need to know about the cake.
It's vanilla sponge. Our proper one. Light. Fluffy. Real vanilla. None of that artificial rubbish. Covered in smooth vanilla buttercream. Simple. Clean. Lets the number shape do the work.
Piped round the edges nice. Sometimes a few sprinkles if you want. But mostly just elegant. You want it to look good with the sparkler going off.
Seven inches. Feeds 4-6. Perfect for an intimate celebration. Small family. Couple with leftovers. Close friends.
What you need to know about the sparkler.
It's a cake sparkler. Made for cakes. Not the massive ones from Bonfire Night. Smaller. Safer. Sticks in the cake properly.
Burns for about a minute. Maybe a bit less. Long enough for photos. Long enough for the moment. Not so long it sets anything on fire.
Comes separately. You push it in just before lighting. Obvious but got to mention it.

Can I get a different flavour?
Yeah. Just ask. Chocolate. Red velvet. Lemon. Strawberry. Whatever. Might cost a bit more depending. Message me and we'll sort it.
Can I get a different colour sparkler?
Usually gold or silver. Depends what I've got. If you want a specific colour message me and I'll see what I can do.
When should I order?
Few days notice if you can. Sparklers I've usually got. Cake needs time. Week is safe. Two weeks if you want something fancy or a different flavour.
Last minute? Message anyway. Might be able to help.
Collection or delivery?
Collect from the shop. Or I can deliver local. Sparkler and cake together. Careful with the sparkler obviously. It's not lit. Just a sparkler. But still. Don't let kids play with it.
One thing to mention.
Sparklers are hot. Obviously. They burn. Light it, let it do its thing, blow it out or let it burn out, then take it out before eating. Don't eat the sparkler. Shouldn't have to say that but here we are.
Also keep away from kids. And hair. And curtains. And anything flammable. Common sense really.

Product Life After Purchase
Our fresh cream cakes have a fridge shelf life of 24 hours and should be consumed within this time. For best results, place the cake in the refrigerator within 45 minutes (maximum 2 hours) of purchase and store at a temperature between 2°C and 5°C.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled collection or delivery time. Refunds are also not provided for failed deliveries or cakes that remain uncollected for any reason.

The delivery drivers aim to deliver your order within the selected time slot. However, delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as traffic. If this happens, we will try to contact you using the phone number you provided.
When the driver arrives, they will knock or ring the bell. If there is no response, they will attempt to call you. If still unanswered, the order will be returned to our store. In such cases, you will need to contact us to arrange redelivery (charged at our standard delivery rate) or collect your order from our store free of charge. Delivery charges are non-refundable.
If you miss your scheduled delivery day and request a refund or a replacement cake for the next day, an additional charge will apply.
For flats or apartment buildings, we kindly ask that you meet the driver at the main entrance.
On receiving your order, please check your cake carefully, especially the written message and its condition. Any damage must be reported immediately. Please take clear photos, inform the driver, and refuse the delivery if necessary. Once a delivery is accepted and the driver has left, it becomes more difficult for us to investigate. As we work with third-party couriers, minor imperfections may occur. While we strive to fulfil every order with care, we ask for your understanding of slight damages. If your cake arrives in poor condition, please take photos and return it with the driver to the store for a refund.
