Simple as that. One side chocolate. One side vanilla. The one I've been making for years. Dark. Damp. Actually tastes of chocolate not just brown coloured sadness. The vanilla side is the classic one. Light. Fluffy. Real vanilla. Vanilla buttercream on the vanilla side. Chocolate buttercream on the chocolate side. Sometimes people want them to swap over or mix together and honestly? Go for it. It's your cake. Half sprinkles or something pretty. Or if you want it fully covered in one thing that's fine too.
